With more than 13 years of combined industry experience, our directors remain personally involved in every project, bringing practical carpentry knowledge and hands-on leadership from the very beginning. Dylan coordinates onsite work and manages project delivery, while Tristan oversees supplier relationships, communication and scheduling. This close involvement means each project benefits from clear guidance, thoughtful planning and careful execution, allowing us to deliver outdoor and commercial spaces that feel purposeful, refined and built to last.

What's the major difference between timber and composite decking?

Timber decking, such as Merbau, spotted gum or mahogany offers a natural look and can be refinished over time. Composite decking is lower maintenance and highly resistant to fading, splintering and rot. We’ll guide you based on your budget, maintenance preference and overall design goals.

It depends on a few things such as, height, location and boundary proximity. Some decks, balustrades and fences may require approval or certification. We can advise you during the consultation and coordinate with certifiers if required.

We install Timber, Colorbond, Aluminium and PVC Hamptons style fencing. We’ll recommend the best option based on privacy needs, durability, street appeal and maintenance requirements.

Timeframes vary depending on project size and complexity. Standard fencing projects 1-3 days. Small to mid size decks 4-10 days. Large custom builds 1-3 weeks. Weather and material availability can affect scheduling.

We install timber, aluminium and other compliant balustrade systems for your decks, balconies and staircases. We will asses whether your deck requires a balustrade system and if required we will ensure it is built to meet the relevant Australian Standards and safety requirements.

Yes, Lifestyle Timber Designs is fully licensed and insured. We complete all work in accordance with QBCC requirements and Australian building standards.

Yes, we deliver commercial office fitouts across the Morten Bay and Sunshine coast regions, including partitioning walls, framing, internal modifications wall and ceiling linings. We focus on clear communication, compliance and delivering projects on schedule with minimal disruption to business operations.

Our schedule varies depending on current workload and project size. We’ll provide a clear timeframe at quoting stage and lock in a start date once the deposit is received.

We provide a structured, written proposal outling scope of works, materials and payment schedule. This ensures clarity, transparency and no surprises throughout the build process.

We do not offer architectural drafting or in-house design plans. For projects requiring formal drawings or council submission, we can work alongside your designer, architect or certifier to ensure the build meets all structural and compliance requirements.
